Singer Tablo, who jas struggled from the controversy over his educational background, is making a first guest appearance on a talk show in two years.

On February 29, Kang Shim Jang‘s producer Park Sang Hyuk reported that Tablo is going to make a guest appearance on SBS TV’s Kang Shim Jang, which will be recorded on March 15. Including Tablo, all other artists from YG Entertainment will also make a guest appearance.

Many people are excited now as both Big Bang and Tablo, who haven’t appeared on TV for a while, are making a guest appearance on the talk show. Big Bang have just come back to the music scene, and Tablo released a solo album last year.

Producer Park says, “It’s the last episode for Lee Seung Gi to host, and YG artists mean a lot to Lee because they’ve had a special friendship with him. Psy composed and wrote Lee’s hit song ‘You’re My Girl,’ and Tablo was a guest of the first episode of Kang Shim Jang.”

One of the crew also says, “Including Big Bang, Tablo, 2NE1, and Psy, all YG artists are going to appear in the episode. They belong to the same agency, but it’s really hard to see them together in the same place. You’ll be able to see their close friendship and hear fun stories about them.”

Tablo stopped releasing albums and appearing on TV programs after he was caught up in controversy over his educational background. He moved to YG Entertainment next year and released a digital single Airbag in October and a first full-length album Red Eruptions in November.

Big Bang have also tried not to appear on TV, but as they have recently come back to the music scene, they appeared on SBS TV’s Healling Camp and will also appear on SBS TV’s Running Man, Kang Shim Jang and MBC TV’s Infinite Challenge.

The special episode for YG family is also the last episode for host Lee Seung Gi. This special episode will air on March 27 and April 3.
