SM Start Audition for New Girl Group

SM Entertainment is launching a global audition to find members for their new girl group. This marks the first time SM is holding a global audition specifically for a girl group.

Starting from June 1, SM began accepting applications for the '2024 SM NEW GIRL GROUP AUDITION (SMNGG),' as announced on June 3. The application period runs from June 1 to June 22 and is conducted online. Girls born between 2005 and 2011 from around the world are eligible to apply.

For the first-round online audition, applicants must submit a self-introduction and videos showcasing their vocal and dance skills, choosing from designated mission songs.

Those who pass the first round will be individually notified with details regarding the second-round offline auditions. The final winners of SMNGG will be given the opportunity to debut as members of SM's new girl group.
