Girl group NewJeans' Japanese debut single "Supernatural" has secured high positions on major Billboard charts.

According to the latest charts released by Billboard on July 2 (local time), NewJeans (members Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein) entered the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart at No. 14 and the Global 200 chart at No. 25 with their Japanese debut single "Supernatural." The B-side track "Right Now" also made it onto both charts, sparking a dual-wave of popularity. Additionally, NewJeans' double single title track "How Sweet" and the B-side "Bubble Gum," released in May, have been consistently performing well on the Global Excl. U.S. and Global 200 charts for five consecutive weeks. This places all four new songs from "How Sweet" and "Supernatural" on the Billboard global song charts, showcasing the group's worldwide appeal.

NewJeans' songs have also been climbing back up the charts on major music platforms in Korea and Japan following their fan meeting at Tokyo Dome.

"Supernatural" reached No. 1 on Bugs' real-time chart as of 4 PM on the 2nd and climbed to No. 8 on Melon's "Top 100" as of 11 PM the same day. It's uncommon for a Japanese single to rank high on Korean music charts, yet "Supernatural" entered Melon's "Top 100" at No. 34 on its release day (June 21) and has been steadily climbing since. NewJeans' momentum in Japan is also notable.

On Spotify Japan's "Daily Top Songs" chart dated July 1, "Supernatural" rose two spots to No. 15. The chart featured a total of 11 NewJeans songs. On Apple Music Japan's "Top 100," nine NewJeans tracks, including "How Sweet" (No. 12) and "Supernatural" (No. 13), were popular.

The single "Supernatural" debuted at No. 1 on Oricon's "Daily Single Ranking" upon release and held the top spot for three consecutive days (June 21-23). The title track "Supernatural" also reached No. 1 on Line Music's real-time and daily charts.

Meanwhile, NewJeans attracted over 91,200 fans to their "Bunnies Camp 2024 Tokyo Dome" fan meeting held on June 26-27. They received praise from fans and local media for their diverse performances, which included over 20 songs. Continuing their activities in Japan, NewJeans will appear live on Fuji TV's "FNS Music Festival" today (the 3rd).
